Overtime Cancellation Process – Member Vote
At last night’s union meeting, we discussed how overtime should be cancelled when a cancellation is necessary. Two options were presented for consideration:
Option 1: Continue using the current “hours in the box” system, where the member with the most overtime hours is the first to have their overtime cancelled.
Option 2: Cancel overtime based on the order in which it was originally accepted, with the most recently accepted overtime being cancelled first.
Please head to the voting center and cast your vote for the option you believe is the fairest approach. Your participation and input are important in determining how we move forward. Polling will be open until Friday October 23rd at 5pm.
