BodySpec DEXA Scan Event – October 29th at Station 35
The Wellness‑Fitness Team, in partnership with the VRFA, is excited to announce that we will be hosting a BodySpec mobile DEXA scan van for all personnel, family, and friends.
What is a DEXA scan?
DEXA uses low‑dose X‑rays to measure body fat percentage, lean mass, visceral fat, bone density, and more. Each 15‑minute appointment includes a comprehensive full‑body report to help you understand your baseline, identify priorities, and track progress over time.

- Eligibility: All VRFA staff, family members, and friends
- Registration: First come, first served

If participation is strong and the scans prove to be a valuable tool, we plan to host these events quarterly.
Cost & Plans
While the VRFA is supporting the event, scans must be completed off‑duty, and the cost is the responsibility of the participant. BodySpec offers several options:

- One‑time scan: $59.95
- Quarterly plan: $49.95 per quarter (one scan every three months)
- Monthly plan: $39.95 per month (one scan per month)
BodySpec also operates mobile vans throughout the region and has a storefront in Bellevue. All scans are HSA/FSA eligible.
